POPCUT turns videos you upload into edited short-form videos — cuts, captions, motion graphics and music — and lets you download the result. Features differ by plan; see Pricing. We keep improving POPCUT, so features may change over time.

You must be at least 16 years old (or the age of digital consent where you live, if higher) to use POPCUT. Keep your sign-in secure — you're responsible for what happens under your account. Tell us right away at support@popcut.ai if you think someone else has access to it.

You own the videos you upload and the edits POPCUT makes from them. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display your uploads only to provide the service to you — for example to transcribe, edit and render them. We don't train AI models on your footage and we don't share your videos publicly unless you choose to share a link.

You confirm you have the rights to everything you upload, including the people, music and other material in it, and that publishing your edits won't infringe anyone else's rights.

POPCUT doesn't sell or license music. The background beats in your edits are generated by POPCUT's own software, not taken from a music library, and on Pro you can use your own audio file instead. You're responsible for having the rights to any track you upload, and for following the rules of the platforms where you post.

Don't use POPCUT to upload, create or share content that:

• is illegal, or infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights;
• sexualises minors, or is sexually explicit, hateful, harassing or violent;
• impersonates or deceives — including misleading deepfakes of real people;
• contains malware, or is meant to disrupt or overload the service.

Also don't resell access, scrape the service, or get around plan limits. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we'll tell you why unless the law prevents it.

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle is the Merchant of Record for all our orders: it handles payment, invoices, sales tax and VAT, and customer service enquiries about payments and refunds. Paddle's buyer terms apply to your purchase.

Paid plans renew automatically each month or year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in Settings → Billing; you keep your plan until the end of the period you've paid for. Videos included in a plan reset each period and don't roll over; credits from credit packs don't expire while your account is open. If a render fails, the video it used is returned to you automatically. We'll give you notice before changing the price of your plan, and the new price applies from your next renewal.

Refunds are covered by our Refund policy.

You can delete your account anytime in Settings. Deleting it removes your profile, videos and takes; you have 7 days to undo it, then it's permanent. Download anything you want to keep first. We may close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms.

POPCUT uses AI to edit your videos, and the result may not always be perfect — review your edits before you publish them. The service is provided “as is” and we don't promise it will always be available or error-free.

To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost profits, data or opportunities), and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.

If we make material changes to these terms we'll email you or show a notice in the app before they take effect. These terms are governed by the laws of Kosovo, and disputes go to its courts — unless the consumer laws of where you live give you the right to bring a claim there.
